Inprint is an award winning design and branding agency based in Vinton, Virginia. The firm serves a broad range of clients, with a specialty in the tourism, hospitality and foodservice industries. Located in the Roanoke Valley, Inprint’s clients have included start-up companies and Fortune 500 corporations all across the United States.

History

Inprint was founded in the fall of 1991 by business partners David Harris and David Mikula and officially began serving clients on January 1, 1992. The original business model was to provide creative services for every type of print media communication. Today, Inprint helps clients build a brand identity and formulate a strategy to build awareness of the brand. In addition to print, the firm also assists clients with interactive, outdoor and non-traditional platforms such as viral marketing and social network advertising. Originally based out of David Harris's home, rapid growth resulted in the firm leasing space in an office building in Roanoke, Virginia. In 2002 the company purchased property in Vinton, Virginia where its offices are currently located.

Industry Recognition

Inprint won more awards than any other entrant at the 2008 Western Virginia ADDY Awards, winning 17 ADDY Awards, plus Best in Show and the Guardian Angel Award for the Best in Public Service. They were also credited as art director on two award-winning photographs. That extends the streak of art directing ADDY Winning photography to six years. This was the second year in a row that Inprint received the Guardian Angel Award recognizing the best in public service work. Since 2002, Inprint has won over 60 local and district ADDY Awards. The ADDY Awards is the largest creative advertising competition in the country. Nearly 50,000 entries are submitted through local American Advertising Federation (AAF) chapters each year. Inprint has also received regional and national awards from organizations such as The Hermes Creative Awards, the Davey Awards, 3CMA (City, County Communications Marketing Awards), the Summit Awards presented by the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) and more.
