National Small Business Week in the United States is a national recognition event each June which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.

In 2013, the event marked the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Small Business Administration[1] and the 50th annual proclamation by the U.S. President of National Small Business Week.[2]

As part of National Small Business Week, the SBA hosts several events, ceremonies and award to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from all 50 states and U.S. territories.
